Boards & Commissions
introduction

Recognizing the enormous talent and integrity of the membership, the San Diego County Bar Association is publicizing openings and encouraging lawyers to apply for appointment to City boards and commissions. The Bar is working as a resource to help identify qualified candidates for these important positions.

This initiative was developed to assist local government by tapping the individual and collective strengths of our membership. The Bar recognizes its civic duty to contribute while also recognizing this opportunity to assist our members in pursuit of their own civic aspirations. In time, this program will be expanded to include appointments throughout the County.

The men and women of the San Diego County Bar Association represent the best of our community and system of justice. Their training and skills make them ideal for positions of leadership. Service on these committees, boards and commissions is another way lawyers are working for the public’s benefit.
