SDCBA Introduces New Attorney Code of Conduct
The San Diego County Bar Association is proud to introduce an updated and expanded Attorney Code of Conduct, intended to establish aspirational objectives and standards for practice for attorneys. The Attorney Code of Conduct is one of the cornerstones of the SDCBA’s 2008 Campaign on Civility, Integrity and Professionalism. The document was modeled after the SDCBA’s original Civil Litigation Code of Conduct, which was developed nearly 20 years ago to serve as a guide for attorneys who appeared in court. The new Attorney Code of Conduct is now applicable to all attorneys regardless of their practice area, and was developed by a committee comprised of prominent bench and bar leaders.
The new Attorney Code of Conduct can be found HERE.
