The Ethics Committee is an invitation-only Committee dedicated to upholding standards of ethics and professionalism in the San Diego legal community, and provides advice on proposed opinions, rules, and legislation to the SDCBA Board. The Committee puts on regular MCLE programs and seminars, authors Ethics Opinions on issues of importance to the legal community, and provides an Ethics hotline for SDCBA members. In addition, the Committee publishes the Ethics Quarterly, a newsletter outlining the most recent cases in the field of Ethics, writes Ethics articles and MCLE features for San Diego Lawyer, and publishes Ethics in Brief, which appears in every edition of the SDCBA newsletter.
