This committee shall consist of three board members, one of which is the president, three retired judges, and the executive director, who will serve as an ex-officio member. The committee will publish a statement to educate the public on the law and the role of the judge when a judge has been treated unfairly by the media or attacked for rendering an unpopular decision. It shall function in accordance with the SDCBA procedure for responding to the unjust criticism of judges.
