Bench-Bar Community Outreach - Beach Clean Up
The SDCBA and I Love A Clean San Diego, along with judges from the San Diego Superior Court, gathered for a beach clean-up event to help keep San Diego’s main attraction as beautiful and clean as can be.
Summer 2012 FaceLift Project
FaceLift, a joint project between Community HousingWorks and various volunteer groups including the SDCBA, is a "spruce-up-a-block-in-a-day" event accomplished with the help of community volunteers, neighborhood associations, local business leaders, and local political leaders acting as catalysts to build pride and equality. A dozen homes were made over as volunteers assisted in exterior painting, minor landscaping, and trash and debris removal from the entire work area. Priority assistance was given to senior citizens, disabled persons and low income families.
Law Week
From May 2 through May 7, attorneys and legal community volunteers throughout San Diego County participated in activities designed to assist and educate the San Diego community while contributing to what was a truly successful Law Week celebration.
Over 300 people joined together on May 3 for the SDCBA’s annual Law Week Luncheon and Celebration of Community Service to honor the SDCBA’s Service Award Winners, recognize the ongoing commitment to service among San Diego legal professionals and congratulate the student poster and essay contest winners.
