SDCBA Committees
The Committees of the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) provide the foundation for the development and support of all Bar and community programs and services. The SDCBA has open and closed committees that discuss, review and study certain issues within their jurisdiction and then take action, including recommendations to the Board. The Board relies on Committees to do much of the groundwork for their decision-making that in turn may lead to the formulation, revision or redefinition of Board policy. The majority of Committees are open for all members to join. Closed committees are appointed by the SDCBA President and operate in the same manner as an open Committee.
