In follow up to the SDCBA’s 2018 Summer Legal Ethics addressing the State of Bar California’s nearly 70 new and amended Rules of Professional Conduct that became effective, Nov. 1, 2018, this series will address the “how to” and provide practical insight to successfully implement these rules into your practice.
Program three will cover California’s new and revised Rules of Professional Conduct impose significant new obligations on managing and supervising lawyers, including the possibility of vicarious discipline liability. Learn how to avoid sanction for the conduct of another lawyer. Understand how permissibly to advertise for new business.
