In this one hour session we'll talk in plain English about some of the most common cybersecurity issues and easy steps you can take, right now, to reduce risk and mitigate malpractice issues.
We'll also cover:
- How to make your accounts much harder to hack
- How you can defend yourself and your firm against common scams and attacks without being a cybersecurity pro
- Secure communications - how to use Wi-Fi and connect to the internet more securely
- Give you some resources you can use and share with staff, clients, friends, and even family!
Not sure what things like "multi-factor authentication" or "phishing" are? After this session you'll hopefully not only understand it, but be able to clearly explain it to others. Bring your questions!

Audiograms are based on short audio files that have been converted into a video file. They are created by pairing together a section of audio from a webinar, seminar, meeting, or even a podcast, with an image. When the viewer taps to play the file, they hear the audio snippet and often see a waveform moving in tune with the audio — which can be placed over a relevant image (be sure to catch the Canva session before this one to bring it all together). While you could make an audiogram on your own with video editing software (seems hard, right!?), there are many audiogram-specific apps that makes it MUCH easier to create these eye-catching communications tools. For this session, Adriana Linares will show us how she makes audiograms for the SDCBA's podcast using a tool called Headliner.
