About this Event

Overview: This training will emphasize basic practice in handling a family law dissolution case, including ethics and family law, preparation of pleadings, and discussion of special topics of interest to family law practitioners such as custody and child support issues. A judicial officer will provide the court perspective. 

This activity is approved for 1.0 hour of ethics and 3.25 hours of general MCLE. SDVLP certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved education activities prescribed by the rules and regulations of the State of California governing minimum continuing legal education. Volunteers must be members in good standing of the State Bar of California who have accepted 2 pro bono cases in the past 2 years; or have volunteered at least twice at our legal clinics or in the office in the last year.
