Learn legal writing techniques through perspectives of three distinguished speakers. Advice from Chief Judge Laura Taylor and Judge Margaret Mann, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California, will highlight aspects of legal writing from the vantage point of careers in the federal judiciary and as bankruptcy practitioners. Wendy Garewal, Professor of Legal Writing at USD School of Law, will share effective principles that can help legal advocates gain an edge in writing and, in turn, rise to the occasion for their clients.
