Our community is at the forefront of immigration issues, with many foreign-born individuals intending to reside here permanently. Adjustment of Status through marriage to a U.S. Citizen is one of the most common ways individuals can get their green cards and legally reside in the United States. Learn how to file a successful green card application, a marriage-based petition, adjustment of status and related applications with USCIS, and red flags to look for when interviewing clients. This program will be a great primer for new attorneys or practicing attorneys who want to expand their practice to include immigration law.

Get answers to the following questions and more:

- Who is eligible to adjust status because of marriage to a U.S. Citizen?
- What forms do I have to submit with the petition?
- What supporting documents should I obtain and provide?
- How do I handle requests for evidence?
- What should I expect at the adjustment of status interview?
