This CLE is worth 1.0 GEN
Learn how to handle the “in-house investigation” in your employment law case.
Debra L. Reilly, a workplace investigator, will delve into the basics of an investigation and your questions surrounding it. Sandra L. McDonough will discuss how a defendant employer will attempt to use the investigation to its advantage in litigation and trial; specifically, she’ll discuss its use in a motion for summary judgment and if the matter goes to trial, how to portray it as fair and balanced. Josh Gruenberg will talk about how best to portray the “investigation” as a biased whitewash paid for by the employer it attempts to clear.
