3 Programs with Dr. Annette Conway, Psy.D.

Licensed clinical psychologist and business woman Annette Conway, Psy.D. is the owner of HELP Therapist, which is a recognized provider of mental health services throughout San Diego County and California since 1993. For the last 23 years HELP has been able to assist members of our community in a rather unique way, opening doors to therapeutic services for a large number of individuals, couples, and families who would otherwise be unable to obtain treatment. HELP provides mental health services in-home/in-office/in-facilities, and via telehealth. She believes expanding treatment to the home and through telehealth removes two barriers that prevent individuals from seeking and obtaining psychological help—accessibility and the fear of being stigmatized. In her private practice, Dr. Conway’s practice treats a broad spectrum of difficulties using cognitive-behavioral techniques. Most recently, Dr. Conway has studied Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and believes its benefits are far-reaching in helping people of all ages, children to older adults, manage their everyday stress.

Dr. Conway was born and raised in San Diego, earned her B.A. from San Diego State University and her doctorate from the United States International University. She serves as President-elect for San Diego Psychological Association Board, the American Psychological Association Public Education Task Force, and the San Diego County Council on Aging Board.
