Bill Simmons was the broker owner of Re/Max of Rancho Bernardo until he sold it in 2003. He is now a practicing attorney in La Jolla. He specializes in buyer-seller and broker disputes, and real estate mediations.

Bill was president of the San Diego association of realtors in 1997. In 1991 he was the founding chairman of SDAR's risk management committee and served on it until 2016. He has also been a mediator at SDAR's real estate mediation center and at the superior court for over ten years.

Bill has been active for 18 years in the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy (president 2002-4), and is currently involved in end-of-life issues.
