Kathleen Cashman-Kramer practiced in the areas of business and commercial litigation, with emphasis on bankruptcy, real estate and title insurance matters. She has practiced in these areas in California since 1987. In addition to her work in state and federal courts, she represented creditors, committees, trustees and debtors in bankruptcy court and parties in non-bankruptcy work-outs. She has represented clients in connection with many local San Diego and Southern California matters during her years of practice. She is currently the staff attorney for Chapter 13 Trustee Thomas H. Billingslea Jr., of the Southern District of California.

Ms. Cashman-Kramer graduated from Stonehill College in 1981, summa cum laude, and from the New England School of Law in 1984. She was admitted to practice law in January 1985 in Massachusetts, in California in 1987, and in 1993 she was admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia. She remains a member in good standing in each of these jurisdictions. She is also admitted to practice in each federal jurisdiction in California.

Ms. Cashman-Kramer served two terms on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum: from 2001 through 2003, serving as president in 2003, and secretary in 2001 and 2002; and from 1995 through 1998, acting as treasurer in 1996 and vice-president in 1997. She has been one of the co-chairs of the Bankruptcy Section of the San Diego County Bar Association since 2001. She has been a member of the California and San Diego Bankruptcy Forums since 1989, and during that time has participated in and drafted materials for several seminars on real estate and construction issues in bankruptcy. She has been on the Mediation Panel for the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California from 1990 to the present. She has been a member of the San Diego County Bar Association since 1987, and the American Bar Association since 1985. She has authored articles in the United (formerly California) Trustee's Association Quarterly Newsletter and many other legal publications.
