Kathleen A. Cashman-Kramer is the staff attorney for Chapter 13 Trustee Thomas H. Billingslea Jr. in San Diego. Prior to that, she was senior attorney with Pyle Sims Duncan & Stevenson APC for almost 18 years, practicing in the areas of business and commercial litigation, with emphasis on bankruptcy, real estate and title insurance matters. She has practiced in these areas in California since 1987. In addition to her work in state and federal courts, she represented creditors, committees, trustees and debtors in bankruptcy court and parties in non-bankruptcy work-outs.

Kathleen graduated from Stonehill College in 1981, summa cum laude, and from the New England School of Law in 1984. She was admitted to practice law in January 1985 in Massachusetts, in California in 1987, and the District of Columbia in 1993. She has also authored many articles in the United (formerly California) Trustee’s Association Quarterly Newsletter, as both author and co-author, as well as other publications, and she has lectured extensively at the local level. Kathleen has served as chair or co-chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the San Diego County Bar Association since 2001.
