Kimberly A. Ahrens, Esq. is the founder of the Ahrens Law Office and the current Chair for the Lawyers Club LGBTQ Task Force. She is also a former Co-President of the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association, San Diego’s LGBT bar association. In her practice, Kimberly focuses on employment law and civil rights issues. She has extensive experience representing victims of discrimination, harassment, bullying, and wage theft.

Recently the San Diego County Bar Association recognized Kimberly’s dedication to promoting equality by selecting her for its 2015 Service to Diversity Award. This award is especially meaningful to Kimberly because it recognizes her commitment to fighting for equality in workplaces and schools.

Prior to opening her law office, Kimberly earned her J.D. in 2006 from California Western School of Law and her B.A. in Journalism from San Diego State University.
