1 Program with Kate Braner, Esq.

Braner is 20+ year attorney with the San Diego County Office of the Public Defender. A seasoned litigator, she handled complex felony cases including capital homicide cases. She has been responsible for training and mentoring newly hired public defenders. Currently, she is the Chief Deputy for Training and Development for the Department. She is a graduate of Yale Law School where she was an editor for the Yale Law Journal and a Student Director for the Prison Legal Services Legal Clinic. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with University Honors from Bowling Green State University.
