Paula Brunoro-Borokhov is the principal attorney of Brunoro Law, APC. Paula’s practice is focused on assisting businesses and individuals with business and tax related matters. She has vast experience assisting domestic clients in all sorts of tax controversy matters and tax planning for individuals and families. She also performs a role of a general counsel, where she assists clients with the most various and complex business and corporate issues. Paula also handles international business and tax matters, such as tax planning for multinational families and business, international tax audits, offshore voluntary disclosures, cross border transactions, transfer pricing, tax treaties and foreign tax credit.

Paula received her J.D Equivalent degree from Faculdade de Direito de Vitória in her home country, Brazil, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She holds an LL.M in Business and Corporate Law from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude and an LL.M in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. Paula was recognized a Top Young Attorney by the San Diego Daily Transcript in 2014, was name d the Best of the Bar in 2016 by the San Diego Business Journal and a San Diego Rising Stars in Tax Law by Super Lawyers in 2017 and 2018. Paula is the Chair of the Young Tax Lawyers – San Diego Chapter of the CLA and the Chair of the International Law Section of the SDCBA.
