His tips on "leading a professional life" have been widely acclaimed on a nationwide basis. This presentation will be followed by an in-depth panel discussion of hypothetical situations derived from a real life experiences. Bringing decades of trial experience and practice to the table, ABOTA and American College of Trial Lawyers leaders Donna Melby and Virginia Nelson will explore the interplay of civility and ethics with discovery disputes, settlement negotiations, the use of social media, client pressures, judicial expectations, and more.
