Arbitration is generally less expensive and less time-consuming than litigation. Arbitration provisions in consumer, commercial and employment contracts are ubiquitous, but dysfunctional drafting has led too many parties to appellate courts. Regardless of whether attorneys do or do not like the process, they should be knowledgeable about proper drafting of arbitration provisions and how to deal with poorly written provisions in existing contracts. This program is designed to serve that need.
