Join us for a presentation that will cover the basics of Bankruptcy Law. This seminar is geared towards all of those who are interested in or just starting out in Bankruptcy Law, but who would benefit from a 101 understanding as a refresher or an introduction into the legal field. This program will cover the topics below:

- Understanding the interplay between the Bankruptcy Code, Federal Rules of Bk Procedure, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Local Bk Rules
- Information for preparation of bankruptcy petition and statements and schedules
- Prosecuting and defending adversary proceedings
- Objections to exemptions
- Issues relating to imposition of the automatic stay
- Duties of a trustee and the administration of a bankruptcy estate
- Claims objections
